Dr. Thomas Owusu-Boaben is an international management consulting professional with extensive global experience. He has provided consulting services to multinational organizations in Europe, Middle-East Africa, Asia and North America. Currently, he is the Consulting Project Director at Infor Global Solutions, the enterprise software vendor for Baan, BPCS, Lawson and other ERP packages.
Thomas spent nineteen years at Deloitte Consulting and served as the partner responsible for the Enterprise Application in the West African practice. In his role, he led significant and complex Information Technology projects for clients such as African Development Bank, AngloAmerica Ashanti, Vodafone Ghana Telecom, National Social Security of Zimbabwe, Texaco, Total, Procter and Gamble, etc.
Thomas was appointed Global Director for Service Lines in the Deloitte Global office in New York with focus on consulting mid-market practice. He established an organization to support the development of methods and tools to the various service lines which helped to grow the global revenue. He was also the lead instructor for IT methods and tools training for Deloitte Consulting EMEA practice. Thomas became the head of Qualtek, a former software group of Deloitte Consulting.
He earned his first degree in Computer Science from KNUST and obtained Masters in Technology Management and doctorate in Management from University of Maryland University College. Thomas also earned a post graduate degree in Strategic management of technological innovation from University of Maryland University College. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has also completed a leadership training program from Harvard.
Thomas is married to Olivia and they live in New Jersey with their four boys. He is also an elder of his church.
