Qualtek honors Awo Sika Eghan for her consistent professionalism on International Women's Day
Theme: Press for Progress
As today marks our International Women's day, we celebrate our very own, Awo Sika Eghan for her consistent efficiency and professionalism towards her work:
Awo Sika Eghan, is the Client Relationship Manager at Qualtek Ghana Ltd, with the responsibility of managing the company’s client relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. She is an alumna of Ashesi University College, where she graduated with a degree in Management Information Studies. Mrs Eghan joined the Qualtek team in 2015 right after working with the Applications unit at National Information Technology Agency. She
worked on projects such as the Ghana E-payment and E-services applications, where she served as a member of the implementation team.
Right from childhood, she was known as a “talker” and had the passion of becoming a lawyer. However, the ambition died down just before her Secondary education. Her novelty has caused her to work in different roles. She believes, as a woman, she’s been blessed by God to multi-task. With determination, she would excel at everything. Beyond the sky is her limit. She has so much to offer to the world and the fear of failure would never be a limitation to her goals.
She loves reading articles online, traveling and studying the bible, as well as playing leadership role at church. She is married to the love of her life that, she adores very much.
Mrs Eghan is passionate about social work and is currently an executive member of the Association of African Women in Development (AAWID), an NGO in Ghana. She also mentored the children at the Osu Children’s Home and served as a part time French and English teacher at Rangoon School in Accra where she assisted the students in preparing for their entry exams into high school.
Awo believes, as women, we should be givers because we have been graced to bring humanity into this world and this is a privilege God bestows on us. To give our time, our care, our attention and love is what reveals our very nature. We influence our world by being who God has made us. There is no sign of weakness in that. We don’t need to fight to be recognized; we are already called by God himself, and we are created in his very image. We must understand that we are leaders, not because of our positions, but because God has made us so, and we do so by just being women. Selfless givers!
Ayekoo Awo.... Truly Wired for Results!!!
